Immigration ordinance passes; lawyers for possible LAPD TV deal to committee
The Los Angeles City Council voted to write parts of the Mayor's Executive Directive 17 on immigration enforcement into city law, and sent a proposed outside-lawyer contract for a possible LAPD television deal to three committees. It also asked for options on easing the small business tax.
